Just did a trial Feature article on indesign. Followed the SG Her World Mag format (uploaded also on EOQI2)... please follow the following parameters when doing the layouts:
General Layout throughout the whole magazine: Go to Layout -> Margins & columns -> set the margins as such:
Top: 10mm
Bottom: 20mm (leave space for pg nos below, etc)
Inside: 15mm
Outside: 15mm
For Feature Articles:
Title: Arial, Sz 50 (for the title, size and font can vary a little, see the samples I uploaded)
Sub-Title: Arial, Sz 15 (also can vary a little)
Text: Times New Roman, Sz 10, spacing between lines is on auto (should be 12pt). Each paragraph should indent by 5mm (except the first paragraph which follows a sub-heading)
All texts should be aligned to the bottom of the page, it's OK if the top is a little empty.
Sub-Heading within text: Arial, Sz 11, caps or no caps is fine, no indentation, text can be colored. (fonts and size can vary a little too).
Refer to below for sample that I did... (using layout 6 as guide for layout - the one with the big 'M' letter, titles "Male Love Guru".
